Before beginning services with Positive Aspired Learning (PAL), I had concerns about ABA therapy because access to services in Delaware was limited due to inadequate health insurance coverage. As a result, I had to seek private ABA services and pay out of pocket to support my child, a financial burden that I am still paying off today. While working with our previous provider, we did not receive adequate support because of ongoing staffing shortages. As a result, my child was unable to receive services for approximately eight months. This was especially disappointing after being with the company for seven consecutive years. Due to inconsistent services and limited therapist availability, my child made only minimal progress. Due to past experiences, I was hesitant to transition to Positive Aspired Learning and feared that my child would face similar challenges. However, I have now been with Positive Aspired Learning for the last four years, and the experience has been significantly different. The consistency of services and support has provided my child with opportunities to make meaningful progress and has given our family greater confidence in the care being provided. I am very grateful for Positive Aspired Learning. The clinical staff responded promptly when I inquired about services, and the owners personally reached out to me to answer my questions and provide information that eased my concerns. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to address my concerns helped me feel confident in my decision to move forward with services. Since joining PAL, the team working with my son has been professional, compassionate, and supportive. I trust that my child is receiving the highest level of care and support from the team they have provided. PAL has consistently staffed dedicated and reliable Behavior Technicians who are committed to helping my child succeed.As a parent who is not always home and relies on a CNA to assist with my son's care, this level of support has strengthened my confidence and trust in the PAL team. It gives me peace of mind to go to work each day knowing that my son is receiving quality care and support. My child receives services both at home and in school, and the PAL team has been instrumental in helping him overcome challenges that our family struggled with for years. Their collaborative approach and consistent support have helped break down barriers and create meaningful progress across multiple settings.
