Your Path to Progress: Understanding Our Intake Process and Requesting ABA Services

Our approach is streamlined and effective, ensuring that your child receives the personalized care they need to succeed.

How it works?

We provide personalized care to meet the unique needs of each child with Autism Spectrum Disorder who is under the age of 21 and has a diagnosis from a Mental Health Professional. Our four-step process is simple and effective, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality care possible.

1
Benefit Check

We confirm coverage and secure pre-authorization.

2
Treatment Plan

A BCBA conducts assessments and discusses your child's needs.

3
Behavior Therapy Sessions

ABA therapy is conducted by our Behavior Technicians and supervised by our BCBAs.

4
Family Training

There is ongoing family and parent training.

At Positive Aspired Learning, we understand that each child with autism is unique, and therefore requires individualized care to reach their full potential. Our ABA therapy services follow a simple and effective process to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young clients.

Firstly, it is important to note that our services are available for children who meet certain criteria. The child must be under the age of 21 and have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder from a Mental Health Professional. Once these criteria are met, the first step in our process is the benefit check. We understand that navigating insurance coverage can be a daunting task for families, so we take on this responsibility for you. Our team will confirm your coverage and secure pre-authorization, ensuring that our services are covered and accessible to your child. We believe that access to quality ABA therapy should not be limited by insurance barriers, so we work closely with families to help them navigate this process.

Next, a BCBA will be assigned to your child and will conduct a comprehensive assessment of their unique needs. The BCBA will develop a treatment plan tailored to your child's specific strengths, weaknesses, and goals. The development of a personalized treatment plan is essential to ensure that each child receives the individualized care that they require.

Behavior therapy sessions are conducted by our highly trained and experienced behavior technicians, under the supervision of our BCBAs. The frequency and intensity of these sessions are determined by your child's specific needs and goals. Our behavior technicians work one-on-one with your child to implement the strategies outlined in their treatment plan. Our goal is to help your child develop the skills they need to thrive in all aspects of their lives.

Finally, we understand that ABA therapy is not just about helping the child, but also about empowering families to support their child's progress. That's why we offer ongoing family and parent training. This training ensures that families are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to support their child's progress outside of therapy sessions. Our team believes in collaboration with families, working together to help each child reach their full potential.

Positive Aspired Learning's ABA therapy process is designed to provide individualized, evidence-based care for children under the age of 21 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. We believe that our young clients deserve access to the highest quality care, and our process ensures that they receive just that. From the benefit check to ongoing family training, our team is committed to empowering families and helping children reach their full potential.
